Exhibited in the “Urban Landscapes” group show at Beyond Art Gallery in Lafayette, Indiana, this watercolor piece started life as a tiny sketch from a bakery window on a snowy day. The kids took turns doing their own watercolor pages as my paints dried and we did our best to keep crumbs from the croissants from leaving butter spots on the pages.
